Description

Installation of Fire alarm systems, explaining the types of fire alarm systems there is, Connecting all the equipment together and its operations.

This training also includes how to draw the floor plan of a building using Microsoft Power Point.

There are basically 4 types of fire alarm installation as explained in this training all 4 were touched but only one of them is our focus in this course for the practical session all the others were touched deeply.

There are the wireless systems (NFPA Standard 72), the conventional system (NFPA Standard 72), the addressable systems (NFPA Standard 72) and FM200 (NFPA 2001 Standard). What’s separates the addressable and the convention is the fact that the addressable system is more direct, it indicates exactly where the fire or smoke is been detected, it’s a programmable system. The conventional is different from that, it only tells you the zone where the fire or smoke is coming from, it will now be left to the resident to check the exact location of the fire or smoke.

The cabling of the addressable system is slightly different from the cabling of the conventional system.

This training covers the conventional system because we have observed that a larger number of people install the conventional more that the addressable however we touched the cabling of the addressable systems in explanation. The wireless system is straight it’s a standalone system.

we explain the basic types of fire alarm, but our focus is on conventional fire alarm systems
