This course is the end result of an outdoor seminar in Oxford on the topic of C.B.A.

We look at Cows and Apple Pies; Cats and Avocados.

All the time we consider creativity, strategic thinking and the application to management. Strategies such as:

We consider chickens and airplanes, cats as astronauts.

We also consider:

Education and Awareness

  • Clear Labelling

  • Incentives

  • Availability and Accessibility

  • Farmers’ Markets

  • Community Supported Agriculture (CSA)

  • Restaurant and Retailer Partnerships

  • Public Policy

In another scenario we consider:

  • Deforestation

  • Water Usage

  • Pesticide Use

  • Monoculture

  • Carbon Footprint

These are just a few examples. It’s important to remember that any changes in production and consumption habits can have far-reaching impacts on the environment and need to be managed sustainably.

As can be seen, this is a wide range of topics BUT this is a short course. This is a course where the overall aim is to stimulate creative thinking. That is why there are Case Studies and exercises to do.
