This course is ideal for first graders, parents, and teachers who want to make learning math a joyful and enriching experience. Join Appu & Tiger for a fun-filled journey with 4 hours of animated videos and practice sessions.
What You’ll Learn:
Numbers – You will be introduced to counting numbers up to 100. Animated videos will cover the following topics: Count and Color, Join the Dots, What Comes After, What Comes Before, Fill in the Missing Number, and Counting Backwards.
Addition – Learn addition up to the number 100 with fun animations covering the following topics: Count How Many, Create a Picture Story Using Addition, Make Two Addition Stories for Each Picture, and Addition Using Fingers.
Subtraction – Introduction, Learn subtraction up to the number 100 with engaging animations covering the following topics: Count How Many, Create a Picture Story Using Subtraction, Make Two Subtraction Stories for Each Picture, and Subtraction Using Fingers.
Smaller and Greater – Identify smaller and greater quantities by determining which group has more, which group has less, which groups are the same, and which group has the greatest and smallest amounts.
Shapes – Have fun exploring the world of shapes. You will learn to identify shapes, sort shapes, match shapes, and complete patterns using shapes.
Length – Learn all about length by discovering who is the longest, tallest and shortest.
Weight – Learn about weights by comparing them, identifying the heaviest and lightest, measuring weights, and guessing weights without comparing.
More or Less – Compare numbers and master greater than and less than skills, such as figuring out which bowl Tiger will choose for a meal.
Graphs – Fun with Data! Get introduced to simple graphs (picture graphs), learn to collect and organize data, and interpret and create basic graphs.
Multiplication – Introduction to multiplication up to numbers 50 with fun animations covering the following topics: How Many Altogether, Tell a Story for Each Picture, Draw to Answer, and Count How Many.
Division – Introduction to division up to numbers 50 with engaging animations covering the following topics: Count How Many, How Many Groups.
Halves and Quarters – Learn about halves and quarters by examining pictures and identifying what constitutes halves and quarters.
Time – Explore the world of time by learning how to tell time, including half-past times, identifying the current time, and understanding activities during day and night.
Money – Discover the world of money: buying with coins, buying with notes, using both coins and notes, counting change, and guessing costs.
