Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) is the statutory safeguarding guidance for schools and colleges in England—and staff understanding is critical to creating a culture where children are protected, concerns are acted on early, and safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility.

This course provides a clear, practical, and role-relevant learning pathway for all staff working in educational settings. It translates KCSIE expectations into day-to-day actions: recognising indicators of abuse and neglect, responding professionally to disclosures, recording concerns accurately, and following appropriate internal and external reporting routes.
